The exclusive LEAP program for chairpersons and vice-chairpersons is quite different from this. As this programme aims to boost leadership skills for the chairpersons, the activities were tough and harsh. Activities included rowing dragon boats and a day-long adventure race. Participants summoned their determination as they had to endure pain and exhaustion without giving up.
CHU Shun Chung (4A) reflected that ‘by going to the camp, we really learnt a lot in terms of teamwork and self-improvement. We learned about ourselves and better understand our strengths and weaknesses. We recognize and appreciate others’ efforts. We also learned to help each other when facing difficulties.’
